hi all im on rebuilding the engine a 1985 xt 600 cc and ive came across a bit of a stumbling block. its a 550 cc lump in a 600 frame and before i realized this i bought a gasket kit for a 600 cc :eusa_doh:the cylinder head and base gaskets will be no good but my question is will the rest of the set fit ?

looking on Google images the 550 and 600 engines took identical and so im hoping that the only difference is the bore

Hi Mark , cant be positive but the i think most of the gaskets will fit, you may find the odd o ring thats different but most of the set

should be OK.
