Moderator Airhead Posted June 3, 2012 Moderator Posted June 3, 2012 I fitted one of these to my DT, might come in handy for help with jetting, it has a thermocouple attached to a copper ring to go between the spark plug and cyl head. It's very responsive and cheap to buy http://trailtech.net...emperature.html [media=]
Moderator DirtyDT Posted June 4, 2012 Moderator Posted June 4, 2012 What temperature does the DT run at Paul?
Moderator Airhead Posted June 4, 2012 Author Moderator Posted June 4, 2012 @ DirtyDT, easy going temps around 160/180C, hard work temps I have seen up to 220C...all this means nothing to me but i'm learning mate @Drewpy, Had it quite a while now, around £30 ish, you have to buy one suitable for your particular size plug

Moderator Cynic Posted June 9, 2012 Moderator Posted June 9, 2012 Looks like the kind of thing that would be good on a twin, temps matched she must be sweet. Multiple sensors on one display?

2 Wheels Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 I wonder does it read the heat of the engine or the heat the plug gets to,,,,,,,,, probably the same tem anyway but i always thaught the plug would be ever-so-slightly hotter. Suppose it doesnt matter anyway Looks good on the bike too.
