Hi all,

I'm from the wild west of Ireland,currently without a bike, but passed my test about a year ago. Plan is to get my hands eventually on an XJ600 or similar as a commuter to start with. For years have loved the thought of touring Scotland, up around the lake district looks absolutely beautiful. This may be slightly longer term plan as I have a couple of wee wans to fend for at the minute. Anyway bit the bullet and got the test out of the way last summer as I've got to start somewhere.

Hope I'm welcome, (all be it premature without a bike)..... :thumb:

    the lake district and scotland are both good choices for touring and the XJ600 is a more than capable bike
