Posted March 3, 201213 yr have 1979 yamaha 750xs have good spark but does even try to fire. have gas coming out of petcocks to carbs , but pull plugs and there dry. any one have answer
March 3, 201213 yr Moderator Check where the petrol is stopping. If it is coming to the petcock, is it getting to the carbs? Are the carbs full of petrol? Is there an inline filter that is blocked. Have you poured a little fuel down a spark plug hole, refitted the plug and HT lead and then tried to start it?
