Junti70
I have an FZR600 Genesis ( F plate) that i bought recently. Is there any way i can find out the key numbers or get a key cut ? I have the V5, but the previous owner ( a relation ) has lost the keys. I can buy a new or second hand set, but i would like to know if its possible to just get a key. Any ideas, anyone ? Moderator DirtyDT Posted January 7, 2012 Moderator Share Posted January 7, 2012 Probibly a mobile locksmith is your best bet. I would guess the bike is too old for the Dealer to have a key number and not old enough for the key number to be stamped on the barrel. Someone else might know more though..................... yam4l0
Might be worth contacting a guy on the RD/RZ Forum called SIMON5 he can suite locks to one key, maybe he will be able to help. HTH

Ttaskmaster
Speak to a local, independant locksmith who specialises in vehicles. They can impression the lock and cut you a new set of keys. Costs around £15 for a set of 3. If you have one of those that also controls the immob, he can use something like a VAG66 to encode the key for you.
