bike-nut67 Posted November 6, 2011 Share Posted November 6, 2011 hi folks, help needed just stripped and cleaned carbs after bike bn sitting for yrs starts great now, but petrol is coming out of overflow pipes is this down to float needle or what??? Exitpest Posted November 17, 2011 Share Posted November 17, 2011 I had the same problem with my TDM, I serviced both carbs with a new floats and needle kit. My newest bike a 1994 XJ600s, was so much easier to work on. As i cleaned all 4 carbs and fitted new inlet rubbers, in a quarter of the time of the TDM. Good luck.
