daveye Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Just wondering if this annoys anybody else or maybe i've overlooked something but is it possible to make every link open outside of the site? instead of just straight to that link and having to page back to get to the site again Cheers Dave
Moderator DirtyDT Posted November 6, 2011 Moderator Posted November 6, 2011 I think the IP board software has a mod that can do that but it would be set by the owner. In firefox if you rightclick the link and chose "open link in new tab", it will do that for you.
Moderator Airhead Posted November 6, 2011 Moderator Posted November 6, 2011 dont annoy me cause I dont know what youre on about
up.yours Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 don't annoy me , ? i like to page back, it's fun.
Ttaskmaster Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Right click on the link and choose 'open in new window' or 'open in new tab' (most internet browsers use tabs these days). ANother tick is to hold down the CTRL key and click normally - Opens the link in a new tab. That's my personal favourite.
daveye Posted November 11, 2011 Author Posted November 11, 2011 cheers guys i use google chrome and know to right click and open in new tab.... on a few other forums i frequent as soon as you click a link it opens in a new tab without right clicking guess i've been spoiled on other forums lol Dave
dMelody Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 This would be great! I thought of it too, just not to annoy people visiting this site links could open outside. This would work greatly:) Foe example, this one: PDF Converter
