whasssuuup,new to this lookin for some info on cone filters

hi all on y.o.c.,just recently bought myself a 92 rxs100 needsa little tlc to get her back to good standard,have replaced 1 indicator bulb battery + battery line + fuse,just bought 2 new side panels and original color tank,needs a seat ,centre stand circlip+spring ,tyres i hate the standard ones, retaining screw for backlight right hand side,ruubber mounting grommets for side panels and she willb road worthy .

i am also eventually replacing the following;for the new tank a cleaner /liner,mudguards the ones on it r a bit tatty ,seat have asked my local yammy dealer for a price,side stand new back rim/spokes

can i put on a conical air filter without rejetting the carb also does anyone know of adual prpose tyre for this model 75%road 25%offroad/trail i like to drive everything offroad including all the cars i have owned any help or suggestion greatly appreciated ,had a spin off her yesterday my dirtbike is way faster its weird bein on a roadbike thats slower than my dirtbike haha

Forget the conical filter on a 2 stroke more trouble than it is worth , It will need rejetting unless you want to rebuild the engine every time you go out, and you will have all kinds of flat spot problems, as for the tyres , I think you mat struggle to fond trail. tyres in those sizes

air filters alway leav standard performance/free flow ones let in more dirt etc reduce the life of the bike and if you adjust the sir ratio you have to ajust the jettings and you will not realy see any better performance just maybe a bit more noise just leave it alone if your trying for performance etc just upjet 2-4 sizes depending the standard filter will ahndle it
