Hi all

Thanks to all for the warm welcome

Have been reading some posts about not saying enough about yourselves ?. So I'll add a bit more if it's ok .

Male age 44 , live in a village in west Sussex, welder/sheet metal worker by trade, but now restore classic bikes for a living , currently ride a 11 plate bonnie se and a Honda tlr 200 Whitehawk (for fun) and a 94 yzf 750 (undergoing a full refurb)

Triumph bonnie se (well we all get old sometime)

Hope this gives you all some more insight about me, I have posted about the yzf in sports bike category but don't know if it's the right place ??. Also I replied to a post about a fuel tank, haven't had any replys yet ?. Don't know if it's as I'm new, but I'm here to help if anyone else is, regards pete.

Sheet metal, eh? What sort of things have you done?

Could you do stuff like a half-sphere shape with some ribbing and 2-3mm deep indentations in 16ga steel, perhaps?

If so, I may have a few jobs for you... :)
