I suspect the information i seek is already here, buried deep in the pages of this forum, just waiting to be found by entering appropriate key words in the search function. So i hope no one minds while i dig around, in an attempt to get a VERY rough looking 1980 YAMAHA 400 special in roadworthy condition for my wife to kick around town on. I will share info on how i ended up with this gem later! (sometimes even FREE is not enough!) Thanks in advance! Scotty
