hi guys i am having some trouble with my pv , it was fine a few days ago ,but i turned my key about an hour ago and i couldnt hear my pv servo ,so i striped it down made sure everyting was connected ,wich everthing was so i started it and went on it and its flat until i get to about 35-40 then it starts to kick in so i was just wondering do i need a new pv unit any help would be great thanks

did you leave some (just a little) slack in the cables?

I would take out the PV and clean it up with a rag and white spirit, could be gunged up?

Try disconnecting the cables and see if it feels locked up

sounds like the PV controller or motor has died , my TDR did this recently, the Reg rec died and put a high voltage through everything blew bulbs rev counter CDi Pv unit the lot , and the symptoms where very similar to yours
