Posted July 22, 201113 yr Hi everyone, I recently acquired a 74 rd 200. Can't find much on it so hopefully someone out there knows, I'm looking for the type of transmission fluid for the bike. What's in there now is pink and I'm not sure if that's right. Also I'm trying to confirm the correct plugs. Any advice to a new owner is also appreciated
July 22, 201113 yr Moderator 10w/30 or straight 30 bike oil will be best, not car oil or synthetic/semi synthetic, aircooled rd club is the place for the aircooled rd specialists
July 22, 201113 yr Moderator Pink, that could be ATF or 2 stroke oil, someone may have taken the engine oil statement in the manual and thought it means 2 stroke.......
