Posted July 2, 201113 yr Hi everyone. I just bought my first bike, a red 1999 r6. It needs some work to get it running but it looks good. Got new spark plugs, grips, tires, air filter, only thing left is the electrical system. There is some major short that is not letting it start up but the engine turns. I bought a repair book to help out. But yeah this is my summer project and im looking forward to riding it soon.
