Hi, my YZF750R stooped while riding the other day. I have initially checked fuel filter, pick-up, carbs etc and the fuel system appears to be clean and functioning properly.

Now the bike will occasionally start, run for a couple of minutes, then die abruptly without any coughing or spluttering prior. After this I am unable to start it for a few hours, when it will do the same.

I am thinking this is electrical but have no idea where to even begin.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks.

Yes, I have a suggestion.

Could I suggest you read this LINKY. I would then theorise that your question would evolve from where it is.
