Hi, just joined up a few minutes ago, just thought I would say hello.

I have been biking since I was 16 in many forms, road, motocross, enduro,

but now mostly it all road touring and weekend ride outs. I have two Ducatis

a 900 supersport which I spend the last year restoring and a ST4s I use for touring.

I have also picked up a CX500 which I intend to convert to a Cafe Racer, and more importantly

the reason for joining this site was I purchased a 1969 Yas1 about a month ago, and I'm hoping

to pick some members brains on here about parts etc.

Regards Desmoduke

Thanks Paul

I agree the Dukes are a thing of beauty, and when they get under your skin, they cost you a small fortune.

I never had a Yas1 when I was a young fella first bike was a KH125, but I knew the Yas1 was Iconic and there

is nothing nicer than a sweet sounding 2stroke twin.

Many thanks for the links, I will check them out later.

How could I have missed that...I'm such a plank.

I know Kilcullen well, I worked with a fella who grew up there...what part of Donegal are you living.

I was up there a couple of weeks ago on a bike ride....great biking road between lifford & letterkenny.

Ah past Ballybofey a couple of weeks back, also went over the mountain route to gweedore what great biking country, I'm sure the Scotts love it but they have some cracking roads themselves.
