crissy2011 Posted May 7, 2011 Share Posted May 7, 2011 can any1 help?..iv got a dtr 125 1992 model,when i ride it the clutch is fine but after half hour or so the clutch push rod unsrews itself and i have no presure on the clucth lever,how can i stop it unsrewing itself?i dont no much about bikes so need has much help has possible.thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Moderator Cynic Posted May 7, 2011 Moderator Share Posted May 7, 2011 There should be a little ball bearing that sits between the primary rod and the smaller section that is opperated by the arm on the crankcase. If that is missing then the unit can unscrew its self. I would check that before using the threadlock, you shouldn't need the threadlock to hold it. The locknut should be more than enough.
