Posted April 27, 201114 yr Hey guys, Just trying to get some views before deciding to go for either cheaper option of tomtom app on my iphone or shell out for a tomtom rider.. (I know 3rd option is mounting a stanard satnav to bike, but london is always pissing down with rain and dont like the idea of ziplock bag either). Has anyone here actually used the app on their iphone? Whats the sigal like normally? (any worse then stanard satnav) Also whats the battery life like?
April 27, 201114 yr Moderator i phone battery life is piss poor at the best of times so you would need to plug it in for any journey over about 45 mins i reckon

I just recently fitted one to my lads scooter, able to charge mobile phones, 12v air compressors for tyres, 12v auxillary lights etc
