Posted February 26, 201114 yr Hi all I have a DT125 year 2005 which has been giving me problems with starting? Turn on the ignition key all lights etc working but starter button dead,with a bit of investigating (reading the haynes manual)I found that if I unbolt the stand switch and tie it to the frame it starts? I have tested the switch with a metre and cleaned the wiring connections and it seams fine also tested the clutch switch and swapped the relays etc, Can anyone help? Thanks Kevin
February 26, 201114 yr Moderator Have you not answered your own question Kevin? Messing with the side stand switch means it starts so it looks like that is the fault.
