scokingusevi Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 You can buy big bore kits to take it up to 80cc. Polini do one but they are not cheap, you have to buy a cylinder and piston and a bigger carb. It would be serious fun, might get one for my son.Check on ebay. If you can send me your mail address I can send you info.
hectic Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l2736&_nkw=dt+50+coil De-restricts top speed and improves acceleration in your scooter instantly! Simple plug and play design means you will no longer be stuck in traffic. Factory CDI's cause your scooter to stop producing power to prevent them exceeding 50kph. This plug in performance part allows you to overcome this restriction.
NEV Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Erm hectic, dem dares coils mate, I think you need to link to CDI's?
wild foamy Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Awwwwwh!!, brings back memories of my DT50... if your has the registration number of G237MYA name any price and i will buy it back... Conical filter fits on the carb, if you take the rubber pipe off your airbox it should fit in (bit of a squeeze though) big bore kits are also a good idea, mine had a 60cc big bore kit, BigOne exhaust system and the largest front/smallest rear sprocket i could find, it was good for 55 on a flat but realistixally 40 was a comfortable cruising speed
