Moderator Cynic Posted September 29, 2010 Moderator Posted September 29, 2010 Crikey that front pipe's a monster, is that the 'big one' with a paint job?
Moderator Airhead Posted September 29, 2010 Author Moderator Posted September 29, 2010 Crikey that front pipe's a monster, is that the 'big one' with a paint job? It is mate, at one time they were available in black or chrome. Only seem to see chrome ones these days.
Moderator Cynic Posted September 29, 2010 Moderator Posted September 29, 2010 It is mate, at one time they were available in black or chrome. Only seem to see chrome ones these days. Chrome ain't gonna work on a 30 year old DT.
jebb Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Christ, I know I'm a bit on the slim side but i swear I could crawl through that front pipe....sideways
Guest CardBoardDave Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 Thats a great looking bike Paul. Did you restore it?
Moderator Airhead Posted October 23, 2010 Author Moderator Posted October 23, 2010 No not in the true sense of the term 'restored' Dave, i'm the the one and only owner, I rode it for years through the winters and in more recent times started to look after it, a true restored one would have all the zinc and green nuts and bolts etc, personally I prefer stainless and I'm happy with something that looks good for it's age rather than something that looks straight from the showroom.
Yamaryder Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Nice Ride Paul, Looks good! I just tore down my 1978 DT175, going to take my time restoring the bike back. Dave
