Posted September 20, 201014 yr I'm looking for the rubber seal for a 1973 Yamaha CT3 Petrol (Gas) Tank. Anyone know where I can get one? (preferrably in the UK) The only one I can find is on the USA ebay .....and at $50 it seems expensive.

September 20, 201014 yr Author Unlike other seals I've come across this has a 'U' shape profile to fit over the metal internal cap. OD is about 54mm ID is about 41mm overall depth about 5mm Thanx.

September 29, 201014 yr Author Hi i also have a CT1 that will be restored next year , ever thought of making a gasket. I would have thought it very difficult to make a circular rubber gasket with a 'U' shape profile. Any ideas?
September 29, 201014 yr I would have thought it very difficult to make a circular rubber gasket with a 'U' shape profile. Any ideas? Is it u shaped because its compressed over the years or shaped like that, try looking for the other models such as AT2 AT3 CT2 DT3 RT2 RT3 as they use the same part number which should be 308-24612-00-00 Will have a look at mine when i get home tonight. Cheers Tommy10bikes
July 3, 201113 yr Hi, i also own a 1973 CT3, it`s a lovely little bike and my petrol cap gasket is in a pretty bad way, it leaks quite badly. Did you find anywhere to get this gasket? Any help would be gratefully accepted.
