I am trying to trace the first bike i owned,it was a black yammy rd50mx,i had it from new in 1982.The reg is VRA 803Y according to the dvla website it still exists so i wondered if anybody on here owns it or knows anything about it

get a picture of your bike,

get some tracing paper and pencil round the outline of the picture.

that's how you trace your bike :blink:

Mebbe still out ther in someones shed but not taxed since 1990 so a long time to be stored, they only get removed if the DVLA have been notified they are scrapped exported

Make up a licence plate with your old bikes reg number, put it on your present bike, go to your nearest regular petrol station, fill up , then drive away with out paying, I reckon you'll find out within the hour, if the cashier recognises you. ;)
