Vez Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 I forget where i found it tbh, possibly failblog.org or similar site. To answer your initial question though. Airoh s4 helmet Spada textile jacket and pants. spada gloves. A pair of steel toe capped boots. (without these my toes would have been crushed on the last crash) They keep me warm and dry. Can't fault the jackets ability to withstand an impact, and its been tested on 2 occasions, but the pants don't offer the best protection during a sliding crash though. Vez.
Hughsie Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 I have some cheapo Ebay Leathers (JF-Pelle I think they're called) GMAC Jaguar Lid Spada gloves Blitz Racing Boots and sometimes an Oxford toasty face thing

pepperami Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 I`ve got a leather jacket & Arai helmet + boots & gloves when riding the Kawasaki! but if i`m out on the little Honda CG, i`ve got a Lidl jacket and gloves that will surfice. I got one of thier bash-hats as well no matter what bike i ride, i always wear bash-hat, boots, and gloves, even in summer. i have to admit that i dont like wearing big heavy amoured trousers, even though i`ve got them in the cupboard!
Chocolate Teapot Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 Currently wearing an eclectic selection of items, found it difficult to get decent gear as I'm 6ft 5. HTC carbon helmet Weisse textile pants hein gericke winter gloves (need summer ones!) Triumph textile jacket with tiny logos - ride a DT125 I wear my work ankle magnum boots at the minute as I find my bought boots a bit stiff, need to wear them in.
johnsnownw Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 jeans and a helmet and nuckle protected gloves havent invested in protective clothing. I don't wear gloves much, even though I have them. I have plenty of scars on my knuckles from rocks and what not from traveling on I95 through Florida. Never really bothered me when I got hit. Mostly I wear the gloves when it gets cold, though I haven't worn them outside of Missouri. Which btw is where I was born, which is maybe the most boring state in the Union, besides Iowa.
