Posted July 1, 201015 yr My turn signals quit auto canceling after I turn on my 82 XJ 400 Maxim is there a fuse blown? at the same time my speedometer quit too! bad day! the cable is good and greased and turns easy?

July 7, 201015 yr Given how often I see cars that have not cancelled their indicators, I don't see the point myself.
August 11, 201015 yr Author I disconnected the speedo cable at the wheel, hooked my electric drill to the cable put it in reverse and presto..my drill does 20mph! plus after a bit my right signal canceled! turned on the left blinker and after a bit off it went! So I bought a new speedometer drive and all is well! my auto cancelers work again! so all you with manual turn signals eat your heart out!
