I need to date my frame no for a Yamaha RD 250, The no is easily readable. The DVLA reqire I trace the no and receive a letter to date it. Can anyone help please. It would appear I have to re-register my bike.

don't post your email in a machine-readable form on the internet; software will harvest it* and add it to a spam database, increasing the amount of spam you get. obscure it like: "I have a hotmail (.co.uk) email and the bit before teh @ is brian_stevens57"

As to your query.. yamaha uk were most helpful when i rang them with my engine number, they couldnt find it but looked either side and provided an estimate of the age. Whether they'd write this into a dating certificate i dont know, but i'm gfoing to ask today for my wr400
