Posted October 2, 200915 yr Hi all i have a 2009 xt125x and the dealers say it should do 71mph and so do yamaha does anyone no of any mods to either exhaust, air box or any other area that can be changed to get a little bit more from it cheers tony....

October 3, 200915 yr hi ratboy , the problem with low power machiens like these is to be realistic as to their performance , wind resistance is your biggest problem , a low profile riding position will help , but on the flat with the engine not to stressed 60 MPH should keep you up with the cars , 70 MPH is down hill only , thats if the engine holds together !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
