What a load of shite.

A spokeswoman for Lambeth Council said: "It's incredibly important that we address young people's behavioural problems and we make no apologies for using different and innovative methods, but this obviously won't replace more traditional ways of dealing with anti-social behaviour.

I say - Its incredibly important that you address young peoples behavioural problems by punishing the little fuckers properly NOT GIVING THEM FUCKIN FOOT MASSAGES and coming down hard on the parents who dont give a flying fuck where their 10 year old is at 1am.

"We have just pumped an extra £2 million into youth services overall and we provide a whole raft of both traditional and innovative measures to tackle anti-social behaviour across the borough."

Which really means "we are a bunch of tree-hugging soft arses who think being "nice" to the little bastards will stop them from commiting crimes and wreaking havoc - get fuckin real.

She added: "We need to deal with the root causes of young people's behavioural problems and nip them in the bud - prevention is better than cure.

You need to get hold of the fuckin parents and deal with them too. If any of my kids set foot out of line they know for a fact they are in big trouble. I would be the first to march mine to the cop shop if they committed a crime.

Give them a fuckin good hiding and dole out punishemtns that will serve as a deterrent.

"In fact there has been a 50 per cent increase in attendance and 60 per cent decrease in exclusions among young people involved in the programme."

No fuckin wonder!! I think even I would commit a crime for free massage therapy! It costs a fuckin fortune for reflexology round here!

Please do excuse my little rant, but I live across the road from a scumbag mother and her equally scummy kids who get away with murder so it makes my blood boil when i read shite like this.

If i thought i could get away with takeing her fuckin teeth out then i would :pissed-off:

Sounds like someone could do with a foot massage  But seriously I couldn't agree with you more. Schools or society in general just need to stop pussy footing about and get tough. The loving liberal approach doesn't work, the proof is out your window, time for a change methinks.

Every other creature in existence whacks the living shit out of it's bastard offspring when they step out of line. It's the natural way of learning what is bad to do.

I vote we start biting, clawing and ripping the ears off our kids!!!

I like to think of myself as a well balanced individual, I try not to be to judgmental, but I'm inclined to agree with Goff on this.

My missis is a teacher, so I've got a fair idea of the crap she has to deal with.

Parents - parents know how best to educate thier kids, I know this as I've seen them telling the teachnig staff - but all blame is dumped on the teaching staff when little jonny gets a kicking in the playground because spotty carl decided not to give him his dinner money. The result, Carl get excluded for violent behavour - no mention of jonny trying to extract money....

Staff - they have no rights at all, but have to accept all the risks. If they give jonny a 'good talking to' then that's verbal assault! if they fail to break up a fight they are at fault, if they step in they get reported to the rozzers!

Kids - they know thier rights, thier parents know thier rights. And we all know you can't touch the little sods without being accused of child abuse!

Teaching staff have a realy tough job, I couldn't do it (I hate kids!), but the problem is, as Goff so eliquently put it, Bleading Heart Liberals.

Bring back the noose, the cain and let the schools use the 'old' ways to get the kids back in line

When i was at school our headmaster had a fookin big slipper and we used to get that right across our arses if we misbehaved. Then i'd get it all over again when i got home from my folks because i got in bother at school!

My dad was in the army for 40 years (incidentally he was the longest serving member of the British Army EVER, up until this year), and we were brought up in a very disciplined environment - did we toe the line? You bet we fuckin did.

We were scared shitless of getting in bother at school, and if we got in trouble with the police - we were dead meat.

Thats whats lacking - kids aint scared of nowt today.

Mine get a good hiding if they misbehave - i dont mean i knock 10 bags of shit out of them every time they do soemthing wrong, but they know right from wrong, and they too toe the line. A good hiding never did me any harm and it wont do my kids any harm either. These do-gooders with thei anti-smacking campaigns can fuck right off - its because of fuckwits like this that the country is in such a sorry state.

If mine misbehave at school i expect them to be punished properly.

Same with the little shits (and im talkin PRIMARY school kids here) who disrupt classes - they should be punished properly.

I was waiting at the breakfast club today to drop my 2 youngest off before i went to uni - there was a mum there with a kid no older than 6 - she was yakking to her mate and the kid was continuously kicking the metal shutter - most annoying at 7.30am. All she said was "Kieron stop iiiiiit" - several times, and he took no notice whatsoever.

If he was mine i would have pasted his arse till it was raw after telling him the second time. :pissed-off:

With my kids its simple, 3 chances.

Asked, told, boll#cked. And ive done that from their first breath, none of that 'no there not old enough to understand', coblers. They have known my word is law forever so when i raise my voice they know they are in the shit and as a result we regularily get complimented on how polite and well behaved they are.

Don't get me wrong i let them be kids. My only worry is that bringing my kids up with a proper respect and understanding of right and wrong will put them at a disadvantage against the mindless sh1ts that don't give a f about anything.

The one real hope is that they follow their dreams, one is horse mad and helps at a stable for free, to get rides on the pony's, the other to work with/on aircraft (there both girls). I will do my level best to help them rise above the shite that is stewing in our education system at the moment.

Have read all the comments with interest.

Isn't it peculiar how the majority of us as parents seem to want discipline instilled both at home and at school.

I went to an all boys Grammar and regardless that corporal punishment was technically over by then it didn't stop the teachers pasting you with a pump at the front of the class if you were bad. Did we argue? NO - we deserved it...

I have two sons one in last year of primary, one in first year of high both know right from wrong, know how to be polite and know the levels of discipline that will be given if not behaved. From no pocket money - grounding etc.

Parents have the biggest responsibility in bringing up their kids. Teachers need to be allowed to clip the idiot misbehaving in class around the head if they are disruptive without the fear of arrest. Nail the bad ones early and they may get a chance at making something of themselves later in life. Having "rights" is great - what happened to common sense?...

Obviously Goff should actually be PM and sort the entire country out - can't do a worse job than what's going on now... ;)

New Political party made up of Bikers....

what happened to common sense?...

It's dead, that's what happened ->

Obituary:

"The Sad Passing of Common Sense"

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who

has been with us for many years.

No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long

ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as

knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the

worm, life isn't always fair, and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend

more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not

children, are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well intentioned but

overbearing regulations were set in place.

Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassmen t for

kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash

after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student,

only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the

job they themselves failed to do in disciplining their unruly children

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental

consent to administer Paracetamol, sun lotion or a sticky plaster to a

student; but, could not inform the parents when a student became

pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became

contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better

treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a

burglar in your own home and the burglar can sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to

realise that a steaming cup of coffee was hot.

She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge

settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his

wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason.

He is survived by three stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else is

to Blame, and I'm A Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realised he was gone.

BTW - I've never raised a hand to our lass (we've just got the one - after the time we had in the first 6 months, one was enough!), but she knows when I raise my voice it's serious. My wife has hit her once, and it was the only time she ever had to. Some parents have authority, some need to instill it, and most have no idea. It's kinda like the 'victim' thing, I believe some people are born victims, other aren't - It's back to the common sense thing, those that have it generally have well balanced lives, well behaved kids, and manage to go through life without falling down too often. In nature these people would have been weeded out by natural selection, it might not be fair, but that's how it is - no room for the weak.

Oh, our lass is 15 this year, she's in the top groups for most subjects, has a group of about 8 friends who are similar individuals. Like most though, she has no idea what she wants to do in the coming years - but whatever it is, me and the missis will be right behind her (besides I want to travel the world on my bike, can't do that until moved out!)

Gas up - Let's Go!...

You are hereby promoted to the rank of Home Secretary!! :D

Oldgitonabike...

How does Chancellor grab you?

I fully agree with your comments on the complete loss of common sense. It's a sad indicator of our times when we have the laws so skewed in favour of those who actually really need a severe smacking of the backside. It's, although slightly off topic, like the receptionist getting £400k for a sore thumb and the soldier losing limbs getting £50K. The country is upside down, back to front. The best thing we could do is sack the Human Rights Bill off and replace it with The Common Sense Bill and perhaps then regain some law and order.

As the new President (to-be) of America has said. "WE NEED CHANGE"

Well we don't just need change, we need an overhaul of the stupid laws in place, repeal the ones that are not working and get the country back on it's feet.

So if you are ready Goff get the ball rolling.... Your Cabinet is being built for you!! You could bring back National Service as starting point.Sounds like the New Iron Lady!!

Gas up - Let's Go!...

You are hereby promoted to the rank of Home Secretary!! :

Oh jesus, you wouldn't want that.......

1) anyone without a British passport would be out, unless they could prove they have enough cash to live for 6 months.

2) Religion is the root of all conflict, there would be only 2 recognised (we'd have a vote on which to have), and non-believer would be a valid religion as would Biker, and Jedi Knight. Everything else would be outlawed all Schools would teach the primary religion (if they chose to teach religion) - if you want something else you're gonna have to fund it yourself.

3) House of Lords - Out! In would come a democraticly elected upper house, with a restriction on 3 terms.

4) Prime Minister, this would be decided by the populous, a vote like the Yanks have, only it would be based on the total number of votes not some collage thingy watsit. (After of course Goff has put the world to rights and retired). PM would only be allowed to server 2 terms.

5) Anyone being anti-British would be out, we would all salute the flag once a week, to get your voting paper you would need to declare your 'Britishness'. We are a Union, so there is only one flag, at least until the Scots see sense and devolve (but that would leave the rest of us in the crap without North Sea Oil). Wales of course is a Principality not a Country, but as it has great off road tracks I would announce a new King of Wales

6) The CBT would become a core subject for all 16 year old, no pass - no getty out of school

7) 4x4's Oh here's a tricky one, you'd need to pass another driving test to be able to drive these. Footballers wives would be refused a pass automatically, as would anyone with a City postcode

8) The offence of 'being a tit' would be brought in, this could be applied to all walks of life with various penalties

9) Common Sense would be a required school subject, when we trained enough people up to teach it. With most of these people dead, extra funding would be given to anyone who could bring them back to life.

10) Speed Limits would only apply to vehicles with 3 Wheels or more. But if you kill someone by going too fast you're on your own (see rule 11)

11) Anyone who choses to put themselves outside the law (Rapist, Burglar, Being a Tit etc) would loose the protection of the law. So when you find that burglar in your living room you get to blow his nutts off, then make him pay to clean up the mess.

12) Death by Dangerous Driving, there would be a new penalty - Blindfolded Chicken on the M6 in Chesire, if you survive 30 minutes you'd be let off. For fairness this would have to be announced (time and date) in all papers prior to sentance being carried out. If you were drunk at the time then your legs would be tie too.

13) Terrorists, I'm sick of seing the dead bodies of our service personel coming off planes. We have a surplus of Tactical Neuclear Wepons, it's about time we stopped taking sh1t and used them up. We have the best trained military in the world, let them do thier job without interfearence. War is tought - get used to it!

14) Stupid People, would be Euthanased, it's only fair to the rest of us.

15) If you don't want to work - dont. But your not getting another penny from the state. Everyone can work, it's just that some aren't capable of some jobs (see rule 14), just because you've a bad back doesn't mean you can't answer a phone somewhere.

16) Bike lanes would be compulsary in all towns, anything with 3 wheels or more caught in these would, for the purposes of law be considered Stupid.

17) traffic lights would not apply to Motorcycles.

Oh I could go on forever, so probably best if I stick to what I do best.....

im a teacher and i have to say i love my job - but the education system is struggling due to a fragmented society. Many of the kids i teach come from single parent families or dole-families and are dragged-up rather than raised properly. We have a culture of kids not coming from homes where discipline is used and where (often) there is no work ethic or father figure.

Children develop morality and knowing right-and-wrong during there toddler years, but all too often kids now dont and the damage is done and is long-term.

The problem is the pinko, socialist, labourite, loony-lefty, do-gooder government and quango types think this kind of bullshit is gonna make kids 'straighten-up and fly-right'. Where i work i often raise eye-brows cos i say what i think about these matters in meetings (when we are told about some new bollox initiative to 'manage' behaviour).

I wonder how hard the profession is going to be in 10-15 years and beyond and whether i will still be able to put up with the small minority of spoilt, feckless yobs.

Gas up...

No still getting my vote!!

I'll be a Sith Lord if that's ok? Jedi Knight....feel the power of the darkside!!

Only one I'm not convinced on is number 17 unless of course a motorist hitting a Biker going through the lights then incurs a punishment - say a week in the stocks? or perhaps removal of his vehicle for life....

No.18 Old people cannot drive... end of!!

No.19 Anyone caught carrying a knife has said weapon stabbed through own limb - their choice - and cannot get NHS help after, but is given a needle and thread - DIY!!

N0.20 Child molesters / Murderers etc. are castrated without anasthetic then run over by the murdered / molested parents (or relations available) with a steam roller. That'll cure them!!

See we're on the same wavlength!! :D

Oh yes we we're talking about education - well there are 20 Commandmants for kids to learn right there!!

This one still causes quite a bit of amazement in me, the fact that the legal system didn't laugh outright at her and tell her to grow a brain and get out of the courtroom. I actually use this example when people ask me why the judicial system is messed up. We now have laws for everything, including having to include a legal warning on insulated coffee cups pointing out that the beverage inside may be hot.

I'm still waiting for the day a man drops an ice cold drink into his laps and his balls shrivel up causing him to get into an accident and getting a huge settlement for that.

WARNING: This Product May Contain Nuts

Found on a packet od KP Salted Peanuts..

Nuf said!

Yeah I have a packet of eggs in my fridge....

Has " Allergy advice - Contains egg "

Well who'd have thought it!!!

It's actually quite common-place. I work in retail and if you look at most products they have these warnings on.

It's obviously to help those with the single brain cell. Which takes us back to Common Sense again....

I'm allergic to fish - I don't need the pack to tell me "Cod - contains fish" . I'm well aware!!

If you need that much help in life I refer you to law No.14... :D

Education is not going to help some of these people so I refer them to law No.14 also...
