Hey, does anyone know where i can get a set of carbs for my 1969 Yamaha R3? The originals for it are supposed to be Mikuni VM28's, but they've been discontinued and its a hard to find part. I've tried a few other carbs (VM29's and VM30's) but i keep run into problems trying to mount em. It seems i need an adapter or simply the original carbs but i can find neither. I wish i had more details about what the original carbs looked like but i never had em, i found the bike without carbs. This part number and illustration is all i have:

Welll the RD,s and the YR5,s had vm 28 carbs but it looks as though the YDS7 had VM26 carbs so i wonder if you can get the R5 or RD350 carbs to fit R5 would be the nearest if yo can get a set,
