SCOTT DT 125 Posted August 3, 2008 Share Posted August 3, 2008 Ok i ordered a set of seals for my dt 125 1989!!! Took them to local mechanic to fit them and when he stripped my old ones off they were the wrong ones. I went back to the bike shop and they state they are the correct ones for my bike. The seals that came out are 20mm thick and the new ones are half the size. Anyone know if the bike shop are giving me the wrong ones or any other ideas? The bike shop told me that the old ones have a built in dust seal but my mechanic ( a clever man ) swears blind that there isnt a built in dust seal. Any thoughts on this guys?
