Hmmm did this with my RD250 in the seventies you need to rejet as well, i seem to remember it became very peaky after doing it, most likely get better results wit an expansion chamber merv
July 30, 200816 yr Author Cheers Merv. I was actually advised one day whilst I was cleaning my bike by a passing binman that if I undid a screw and just chopped off a couple of inches off of the baffles (or something) it would do the job. I wasnt really listening. Hence the need of a reminder.
