used to own a 98 divvy myself some yrs ago lol and that too had the same prob a ticking on the left side of the engine would sometimes get it on right when very hot but not often!!! basically its a quirk of the engine you could spend a fortune at yam dealer gettin tappets etc set but wont be quiet for long lol

Thanks for that advice dude, nice to get a reply. I shall bare that in mind, the Pirelli's seem a little too soft, with the mileage I do I'd get through them in a matter of months! Guess they're good for the track or the fair weather rider though, personally I don't believe in fair weather riding
hi there mate i used to have a divi some yrs back mine was a 98 wi twin front disks naked model and the best tire i found was bridgstone BT45 great wet or dry and grippy from cold

ive had a thundercat and it was not a patch on the R6 i bought after the thundercat, and then after nearly a 3 yr no bike period i thought what the hay and bought an 05 under seat exhaust R1 a truly awsome piece of kit

hi all
thought i would just say big hello to you all, i have just returned to biking after a 3yr break so jumped straight in the deep end and bought myself an 05 underseat exhaust R1, my previous bike was an 03 R6 and the difference is staggering lol

hi there i own an 05 underseat exaust R1 and getting alot of clattering noise from the front, under inspection i have found this noise to be the pads and retaining pins rattling in the callipers!! i would like to know if anyone else has had this prob the bike has done about 9000 mls and in mint condition
