Also got a `used 3 times` Crowtrees off of ebay ( www.ebay.co.uk ) for £250 last July - literally as new - full body armour, stretch panels, sliders etc didn`t even have a dead fly on them . bargain of the CENTURY ! C :):D:D:D

  3. This is a good mates V-Max project - almost finished and should be at the BMF . If you see it coming up behind you, beware ....... this one should handle, stop and accelerate like a b`stard and its the full power v-boost version !!!!

Yokes and other bits by Nigel Kimber, Front wheel / forks and brakes are off a `Busa, Ohlins rear shocks, specially built rear wheel to take a 190 section tyre, .. looks even better in the flesh.B)

Dunno about the peg positioning though ...... :P

  4. Is it a multi-bike policy? - RD 350 LC and SP1 (yes, its a Hon*a, but it THINKS its an LC ,....it wheelies, is watercooled and makes a lot of noise :P ) Both fully comp too.

What excesses are there on each bike if it is.

Does it allow temporary additional vehicles so I can ride / hire / borrow a different bike? ( Footman James don`t as they write their own plans via Axa)

Do they do a `classic` discount for me manky old 350 LC ?

Will it cover the LC on an agreed value ?

Current cost is £ 324 fully comp.

  5. He's still a fucking slant eyed bastard and no-one can dispute that!

He's fucked the Back Yard and now he has set his sights on the yamclub forum.!

    As Gavin has said................

Give the slant eyed shit an inch and he will take the entire forum!

At first it was only the BY that was a risk but of late he has been a cunt in the General and in here!

    WE ALL HATE YOU JMW!.......................

To quote another BY fable ..... SHUT UP ARDON !!

YES yes so we all hate Giro but don`t bring yer multitude of aliases on here !

  6. Yeah, Mitsuo is a bit quick ..... I was on my 350 LC going round corners I knew very well at 85 / 90 mph,..... Mitsuo was about 2 lengths behind tucked in behind the clocks,... all you could see was his hands and the top of his (borrowed) helmet !! Ferkin` awesome ....

Blind faith in the bloke in front i guess! :P:P

Freds 500 PSYV thingy is VERY nice ..... time he sold it mebee .....

  7. This is Freds old shed last september (2003) with a friend from Japan (Mitsuo Shimura) who I`ve seen on this forum,(Hi Mitsuo) and another friend from Scotland (now lives in Ashby-de-la-Zouch and brings his LC here to be fettled)

Whilst its clean, its slower than Mitsuo on an RD250LC ......

  8. Laura, from what I saw / gauged from being at the first R6 Cup launch in 2003 you`ll need to be a decent / successful racer already - and assuming that you ARE a decent and successful racer, then you`ll need the sponsorship deal to raise the entry fee which was £15,000 in 2003 and I believe £17,500 in the 2004 season.

The entry fee covered the use of the bikes, tyres, repairs etc. The bikes were taken away by Yamaha and prepared for the next meeting, all they left alone were your suspension settings.

First thing to go up for sale may well be your own R6 ...... :( - but needs must if you wanna race in the big time.

Its up to you to fund transport to and from meetings, accomodation when there, your leathers, helmets all other race clothing although there were Paddock Jackets (I`ve got one :) ) tee-shirts, kit-bags, caps and some other trinkets handed out to the riders at the launch.

I have some photos I took from inside the launch if you`d like some ? I was invited there by Niall Mackenzie and Rob McElnea as I own this ...... PM me for an e-mail address.

RD350LC`s were used for the original Pro-Am race series back in 1981 - ask yer dad :) The R6 Cup of its day, if you get my drift.

    LC.jpg

When the photo was taken I had Steve Hislops (R.I.P Steve.... ) BSB R1 on the left and a race R6 on the right - and my LC in the middle.

Being let loose inside the Virgin Yamaha and BSB paddocks made for a great day :D

    Paul.
