[1980 yamaha xj650 maxim-i]

Hello I just bought a 1980 yamaha xj650 I think there is supposed to be a G after 650 not sure but I was wondering on my original side cover it says MAXIM-I. I don't know what the I stands for I guess it was inline 4 but not sure if you could help me out with any info on this bike I would be greatfull for I would like to share with others on the road and at least know a little about my bike. [Maxim 650 1982]

Hi all! Just got my Maxim a few days ago and I want to change the oil but I can't find the specs anywhere. It didn't come with a manual and nothing is visible through the oil window. I was hoping someone would know how much to refill. Also, my Virago had a different rear suspension system, does anyone know how to adjust the shocks on the Maxim? I have an idea but I don't want to mess it up. Thanks. Peace and carrots.
