  1. Thanks alot. I got the new bearings.

It was originally fitted with a 3.5 inch 3he rear wheel but has had a 4.0 inch 3he rear wheel.

    Thanks again

  2. I have a 18 inch rear wheel that is 4 inch wide. I can't find what bearings fit as the bearings I've ordered only fit in the 3.5 inch rim I have. I want the 4 inch rim as Ive just had it resprayed

Any help on what bearings is much appreciated

    Regards

    Dan

  3. Oh i see lol.

I've just done a deal with my brother and bought a Thundercat so I'll be putting the beloved fzr up for sale soon. I've still got spare wheels though if anyone needs any.

    thanks

    Dan

  4. Does anyone want a pair of original fzr 600 wheels. Both with half decent tyres.

Original 18 inch rear and 17 inch front.

I'd like to try and swap them for a 17 inch thundercat or similar rear wheel. As I want to fit the hike with a Thundercat or fzr 1000 swing arm so I can have a wider 17 inch rear tyre.

    Thanks for you time

  5. Your right cynic. Me and the wife have decided to have a look at a bmw K1300s as our 2 up tourer. I love my fzr to much to get rid I think.  It's an absolute pleasure to ride and is such a fun bike.

    Thanks again

  6. Ideally I'd like £1500 for it to be fair.

Only reason being ive been offered my brothers Thundercat for £1500. As I mostly ride 2 up the Thundercat is a lot more practical

    Thanks

  7. Hi all I've got a 1994 fzr 600. It's in good condition other than a scuff on the fairing. It comes with spare tyres and wheels. Lovely ride starts 1st time every time.

Fitted with a full carbon can company stainless steel system new painted wheels and bearings.  Yamaha logo radiator cover etc.

She's done 26k miles. I was thinking around £1500 with 11 months MOT

    Any advice is appreciated

    Thanks

  8. Thanks a lot chaps. I took it out today up the Horseshoe pass and it was spot on against my brothers bikes.

Happy bunny now. Although I am thinking of selling it now as the wife doesn't like the riding position and my brother is selling his Thundercat which is a lot more practical.

    Thanks again

  9. Hi all I've just put a mph clock on my fzr 600. It previously had original kph clock as it's an import.

Will I need to change the speedo cable or anything else so it'll read in mph?

    Thanks for any help

  10. Thanks Slice. I'm enjoying it already and thanks all for the warm welcome. I hope to possibly join some of you for a ride this coming summer. I'm planning a run up to the Squires at some point this summer to meet up with my uncle I haven't seen for 12 years. He's a die Harley fan. A couple of mates will be joining me for the run as they've never been to the Squires.

whilst there are many common parts the tcat and tace are substantially different. A tace engine is significantly wider 40-50mm approx than the 600cc engine.

Arh fair enough I think plastics wiring etc will all be interchangeable

  12. 12 years ago when I had my CBT at 16 I had an old DT 50 mx with big bore kit. I used to travel 80 miles a night 5 nights a week after work to see my now wife.

Never let me down, only time I had problems was when it was really wet I kept getting water in the carb.

  13. Hi all I'm Dan from North Shropshire.

Been off bikes a few years after having kids but just bought a beautiful 1993 FZR 600 Canadian import.

Looking forward to reading up on them and maybe having a bit of banter with some fellow bikers.

    Kind regards

    Dan
