Well hello all

New to the world of motorbikes and bought a ybr which I'm trying to get to grips with and wondered if anyone could help.

So first point is I'm in need on an exhaust the one on is rusting slowly away found a very small hole in the underside today so just on the lookout for a new exhaust.

Second after I leave bike running on neutral its dies after a few mins revs creep low and cuts out...

I changed the spark plug the other day to a ch7hix as I had a non starting issue with the stock plug.

And thirdly having a problem with the neutral indicator bike will go into neutral but the light will not go on nine times out of ten..and when I do find neutral and release clutch bike still runs until I drop the side stand... Obviously bike has some relay messed up somewhere..

I've bought myself a multi meter battery with engine running idle is around 12.6v

As abit of rust which I'll try sort out with wd40 and wirewool unless anyone has a better idea...

Seriously didn't know the rear tyre was smaller ...well going to buy some so will let you know the metzlers look good

Hi obviously totally new to this

Bike as of the minute has stock Chinese barely legal tyre on front 3.00 18

Need to replace asap really as I have read they don't have the greatest of grip.

Also has a half decent heindau k65 on the back which seems okay .

I know the bike is adapted for tubeless

But I'm thoroughly open to opinions

I'm totally new to this fantastic hobbie/way of life.

Only passed my CBT a fortnight ago and ended up seeing a bargain on a custom ybr 2009 which was to silly to ignore.

Runs perfect but needs sprucing up cosmetically.

Little about me I'm 28

Ex soldier now work primarily driving ambulances so have plenty of experience on the road.

Currently live in Skipton,UK but moving closer to Keighley for a bigger home hence buying the bike as a commuter mainly.

I have three kids and an amazing wife don't know how she puts up with me.

Hoping to stick around ,meet some peeps and pick some brains.
