  1. Last year, I fell down twice thanks to ice and those winter thingies. Scratches and broken parts looked so bad, so I spent the first three weeks of July fixing and updating my bike.

    On-road test :excl:

There's nothing like celebrating a well-done job with a road trip across the Pyrenees, from 26/07/2014 to 02/08/2014, with my dad (BMW F 800 GT) and my brother (Triumph Street Triple 675).

  2. Take a look to the EXUP valve:

    1. Is the servo motor properly plugged?
    2. Start the bike and look if the servo motor moves from its position.
    3. Clean the connections with dielectric grease and try again.
    4. If the symptoms persist, open the servo motor and check if the wires and the small gears are OK.

The servo motor must be always connected to the ECU.

A friend of mine had a similar problem ;)

  3. The owner's book shows the following chart:

    24o9kp4.jpg

Recommended engine oil grade: API service SE, SF, SG type or higher.

    These are my suggestions:

    • For standard use (semi synthetic): Motul 5100 4T 10W40 or Yamalube 4T 10W50.
    • If you're going to race (fully synthetic): Motul 300V Factory Line 10W40, Mobil1 Racing 4T 10W40 or Castrol Power1 Racing 4T 10W40.
