  2. Hello again, just asking how many of you on this site use the following please, wheel balancer/bead breaker as not sure weather to get a pair or not to save on money in the long run or to do some tyres changes myself.not really sure as looking for information and thanks to all who reply.
  3. Yet again I agree its worth paying the extra for new tyres and the right size.good choice Cynic.
  4. Thanks for that theirs a fella whos got a 100 mile set round the corner from me who is trying to sell them for £50 but not sure if they will fit but just wanted to be safe than waste the money so really will leave it thanks to Cynic.cheers.
  5. hi I currently use 160/60/17 rear tyre and 120/70/17 front tyre and was wondering if I could use 190 / 50 ZR 17 Rear 120 / 70 ZR 17 Front on my bike. thanks a lot.
  6. Hi, if at all possible I would use a multi meter to test if you are getting 12v to the connecting block which attaches to the sender unit if their is power to their you will then know it is the sensor which maybe on the engine as cannot find one on rad sorry.
  7. Hi, I would check fuse first, sender unit on rad, check fan.just a note to say the xj6 should run between 80-95 Celsius on external temp + speed of riding. the fan should cut in at 105 Celsius.also as other member have said check your coolant as my xj6s tends to use a little of it every so often over time.
  8. Lol, theirs always a loose nut holding my bars and that's the misses.cheers for now.
  9. Hi ya dt502001.thanks for that, just a note to say I cannot seem to find where they go as taken the bar ends of and the other pieces don't seem to fit any where? strange. unless they come from a previous handle bar stuff in what the other owner could not get out I don't know but thanks for the advice.
  10. Hello. 12. Hi all.i am currently running 160/60/17 and 120/70/17 roadsmart tyres from Dunlop as rear is 3mm deep and front 4 mm deep both in centre but rear has the flat spot in the middle as it was like this when purchased the bike and now done 7600 since it was new and I keep looking around to see what set of new tyres to buy and wheather I could sell the old set for track day for some 1 or just bin them at the shop.thanks all.
  13. Hello all, what you think of this then for new quote from last year.last years policy (comprehensive) was £207 with monthly payments which covers me for legal protection helmet and leathers and pillion cover with £100 access.received new docs today and said new policy was £163:78 for the year or monthly £18:00 with 1 year no claims yeah lol.only to phone them up to try and get it cheaper and was told was best they could do? so left it. rang back again spoke to some 1 else and got it for £132 all in so how does that work yet another saving.not that I am moaning just thought would share with you people it does pay to shop around and barter with the insurance companies. thank you for all replys.
  14. Thanks yet again to add a little more to this topic, the bike should have been and have a full service before collection so now my thoughts are the air filter looks like it had been their since the bike was new as a dirty black (oiley) and I wonder if the oil and filter change was done as well although looks clean as the bike is only 18 months old so this is what put me off the lifetime warranty with my bike any more thoughts please/cheers.
  15. Hello, all I have purchased my motorcycle from these people and would like to know what you think of their lifetime guarantee plan please. thank you.Wheels Lifetime Guarantee on all new and used motorcycles Yes you have read it correctly - Wheels Motorcycles offer a lifetime guarantee on all new and used motorcycles over 500cc purchased from ourselves with less than 30,000 miles or younger than 10 years at the time of purchase for all Kawasaki, Suzuki, Aprilia, Honda and Yamaha models for as long as you keep it. Wheels Motorcycles decided to take this step two years ago after previously charging for the guarantee and finding its benefits so attractive to the customer and for Wheels Motorcycles with its added customer retention. There are no gimmicks or overpriced service charges. We simply ask that you maintain the vehicle at its normal service intervals (first service 600 miles then generally 4,000 to 6,000 miles or annually) with ourselves. Included in this guarantee we also give away free MOT’s when required hopefully enabling you to have many years of stress free motorcycling. There are no complicated or extra terms and conditions to this guarantee we simply extend what would be our normal used bike warranty conditions for the lifetime that you own the vehicle. Also, if you are one of our low annual mileage customers, no need to worry about huge service costs we will simply complete a cheaper interim service and safety check annually to maintain your warranty. This guarantee takes the risk and worries away from the purchaser and leaves it with us, your local dealer. So with all this and hundreds of bikes to choose from as well as great finance and part exchange prices call in to see us today. thank you to all who reply.
