  1. Lovely pic, have to say I prefer the red one (Mines red thats why lol). how many litres is your box? I'm thinking of getting one.

sorry for the delay - i think it is 32 litre - take your lid with you to test fit with topbox

  2. good advice so far - here is my tuppence worth - no need for satnav a UK michilin paper map will suffice - good tread in tyres - proper pressure for load - some cable ties which are also good for securing luggage in tandem with decent bungee straps - fit bike luggage per manufacturers guidelines - maybe a small l.e.d torch - small inflateable mat and pillow 3/4 length mat is fine - ybr bike tools should be fine - your bike is a low milage example and should not give you any bother - cellphone and money - climacool layers which dry really quick - spare nickers are 50pence a pair in the local supermarket - there is an abundance of supermarkets and garages in cornwall - last but not least andrex washables incase you get caught out short - finally ride safe and enjoy

  3. hi grouch - kinda know where you are coming from with that comment - i bought the bike from a female in Ossett and it only had 86 miles on the odometer - the current ybr comes with the rack as standard however the first owner placed the givi derived topbox on the bike herself - the box can hold a fullface lid and even has a nice wee yamaha logo on it - it doesn't look too bad on the bike - i live in balloch loch lomond and the image was taken on the shetland isles when i attended the simmer dim bike rally in june - http://www.simmerdimrally.com/ - having previously owned bigger capacity bikes it was novel riding the ybr to shetland - there was quite a few 125s at this years event - thanks for your positive comments and keep riding safe
