Hi guys
my mates dad is possibly selling one of these and i should get first offer of it
its J reg with 84000 on the clock it needs a bit of a tidy up
but nothing major it seems to run well other than the clutch needing bleed as has trouble down shifting(mates dad said he would fix that)..
just after any info with regards to pros and cons of the bike in general
and anything else i should be checking if i get the offer of it...

Hey guys i know its been a while since i've been here but thought i would share my news that i passed my mod2 DAS the other day and ive just been out and about on my big bike since then...got a few minors on the test but still it was a pass after all
im currently riding a cbr600 in army green colours again heh but still tinkering with it now and again as its a fairly old bike had a fair few owners and never been looked after right at somepoint..... but considering its 23yrs old..... when it runs good its enough to put a smile on my face -

do you also have problems starting it at all? check the carburettor inlet rubber isnt burst had to fix mine today as it has deteriorated and the over reving is a fault caused by this

a wee update on this....i passed my MOD 1 today with 1 minor i had been out a few months back and failed on hitting the cone on the hazard avoidance but after today all is good so roll on MOD 2

shame about the nmber plate lights and that but sure youll get it sorted in no time

eh nope lol it doesn't state if they are 1 inch or 7/8 either so ive emailed the seller and awaiting the reply
just got a reply and he says standard jap...?

i dont think they are drilled and grooved as the description is very short other than them being in used condition they are stated as being jap fit

WOW its lookin awesome man am so jealous heh...i've not been on here for a while as ive been pissed off with maself at failing my mod 1test recently..still awaiting another date at this time..anyway deffo great job on the bike...where did you get the bars for it i fancy a set for my wee sr as it looks like am gonna be on it for some time yet and fancy a change.

i use google chrome and know to right click and open in new tab....
on a few other forums i frequent as soon as you click a link it opens in a new tab without right clicking
guess i've been spoiled on other forums lol

Just wondering if this annoys anybody else or maybe i've overlooked something but is it possible to make every link open outside of the site? instead of just straight to that link and having to page back to get to the site again

mines is a 94 model and the only thing i;ve changed so far is the handle bars for flatter ones and fitted a new chain an sprockets recently..and personalised with a paint job..not too sure about the speedo on it to be honest

i try an nod to any biker even learners and even scooter/moped types sometimes i fail to notice i've been nodded at as i've had the head down
trying to get more speed up.an happen to look up just as the nod/wave is finished lol

it doesnt sound like it rattles at all but dunno about any servicing its had i know hes only had it a short time but i can find out no probs
