  1. Sign up to photobucket.com and upload your pics there (you can send them via text from your mobile) then they will come up with an image code under them when you hover your mouse over them. Copy and paste that image code into your post on here and ET VALA! picture onto yamaha owners club.

  2. but if your happy with just the bobber stile then there are loads of bolt on parts on ebay, probably would need a little fabricating as allot of the parts will be for Harley's and wont fit properly.

Can i just say that BOLTING ON parts to a cruiser will create a chopper...........REMOVING all the useless chrome bolted on parts creates a bobber.

No Harley part will fit onto this bike (except for badges) unless you wanna spend loads of cast getting them re-fabricated or your willing to going metal bashing and welding a shot?

You are going to have to make a lot of stuff your self as parts are like rocking hourse shit but thats all part of the fun! If you want ape hangers you will need to extend your cables, But again measure before you buy.

    Just something to consider.

  3. Hey berniebee, if you are worried about the name thats on the lid then i would stick with the names you know (thats what i would do) but i would go with what DirtyDT said, go and do what women do with shoes.......drag your missus out and go to 4 different helmet shops and try on LOADS of different helmets......once you been to all four DIFFERENT shops go back to the first one and buy one from there! Pay back AND you get a nice day out and you get to perv at some bikes on the way!

    ;)

  4. Hey, and welcomer to the site! ANY thing is possible if you are willing to put the man hours in and are prepared to wait for it. I couldn't see the pic on google so if you find it and copy n paste the web URL in here so we can see what your after and also post a pic of your bike using photo bucket then im sure we can go from there.

  5. Hey guys,

I now have my old carbs back from my mate who kindly broke them and then bought me a new set so if any one here would like any spares ie diaphrams etc then feel free to PM me for info and whiskey toakens.

The diaphrams are in perfect condition and so are majority of the other parts. One carb is complete the other ones outter shell is snapped so is just for spares.

    Kind regards

  6. Looking good! How about instead of black on the tank try a dark green and also a dark green on the rims? photo shop it n see what you think?

Also are you putting a sprung seat on or is this how it will be? just that the rear end looks incomplete to me.

    All the best

  7. Just found a picture of her on the day i picked her up! Out with the tool box n off with all them horrid optional extras!

She had the following bolted on:

Fog lights with an old bit of metal used as a fog light bar which was drilled into the yoke!

Engine crash bars with criuse foot pegs

    Rider and pillion floor boards

    Saddle bag bars

    Sissy bar and rack.

Took me a whole day to remove all this crap and i had to drill out a good hand full of bolts alond the way!

  8. Thanks for all the advice. but i will just say that me and my bike will not go any where near snow id much prefer to have four wheels in them conditions or my own two feet lol.

I have pondered more about this knobbly tyre and am still in two minds as i have now decided not to go with the Springer front forks (but i could change my mind again) so at this moment in time im looking / thinking about a set of up side down forks :D so they may look strange with a knobbly tyre.....but then again some motor cross bikes have USD forks so it may look ok?

    we shall see i guess

  9. She's coming together really nicely now! as you can see that she's looking more like a motorsickle now and im so glad that the gold on the headers looks quite smart!

Now all thats left to do is:

    Seat brakets

    New rear fender

    Handle bars + controls

    Move starter button

    side pannels and cubby holes

    Battery box

    Front brake calliper

    Foot rests and controls

    Re-paint fuel tank.

    Put petrol in her

    Tax + insure

Start her up and ride away happy!

  10. Well she's finally coming together, engine is now in, the carbs and fuel pump is on, coil packs on, swing arm and mono shock in, mono shock cover is in place and looking pretty with the S/S P clips, every single nut bolt and washer is now stainless steel and copper greesed up, and lastly the wireing loom is on.

Tomorrow i will have the air filter on and may even have the forks and front n rear wheel in.

  11. There has only been 3 "reported" motorcycle deaths in Yeovil not 100% sure if there has been more but i know for a fact there have been more that that number that have had a spill and have been injured.

Well the web site is a little bit help full......lest we sort of know what times to avoid things happening......(NOT)

  12. Ok cool, i will dig a little deeper into the price/size that will fit the bike and i may see about photo shopping a set onto a pic of my bike to see if they will look right or not. If they are a good price and a good look then it will go ahead.....if not then it was a stupid idea anf should never be brough up in conversation again. :o)

  13. Hey guys i have been pondering about changing my front tyre as its starting to crack around the walls and also its still a white wall tyre (which looks stupid being the only white wall tyre on the bike) so i was wanting to change the front to a nobbily to carry on the "bad ass" theame that im going for. But the questions i have are:

Will i loose grip on the road?

Can you get the right size to fit on a Draggie?

And will it be a rough/er ride?

Its still a "thought" and not a 100% yes im gunna do it, just after a few opinions really

    Cheers

  14. Done a slight bit of shaping to the plate that will cover my mono shock. Next thing for this will be to etch prime it and paint it gloss black, then i will get some nice stainless steel P clips to fit it.
