  1. Okey frokey, Thanks guys i have a few things to try out now ONCE i get the pissing thing to Yeovil lol. i could have done all this by now if the delivery driver turned up on Saturday but sadly he turned out to be a knob.

  2. Yer may have blown some thing internal then,

Its not hard to get the motor out of these things and you can easily do the work your self if you have the book.

Good luck and how about starting a project thread on the strip down n that so that if anyone else that has a 125 draggy gets the same problem they can get advise from your page?

  3. Its a doddle mate, riding a big bike is easier that riding a 125cc as you haven't got to rev the tits off the thing to pull away or any thing.

the only thing you will learn on you lessons is how to position your self in the road and gain a license to start learning how to ride a bike for the rest of your life ha ha

  4. hmmm, in one way yes, but in another sense no.basically i like to do the easy stuff first (loose bolt easy to fix) then we can go onto harder pricer things.

Fire the bike up and stick your hand by the exhaust elbow on the rear barrel and with a bit of luck you have a blow there, so just tighten up the bolts. if not then possibly blown gasket or tappet or shagged a piston. But we will do the easy stuff first.

  5. I would if i could Foams, only thing is that its not Taxed or MOT'd, gotta sort this drama out first so that i can get it from Southampton to Yeovil and get her MOT'd and all the interior put back on. O and guess what i got for her too!!!??? Rear window louvers / spoilers! :D

  6. welcome Dave, Its ok, loads of new guys just jump on here with a problem question and we never see them again, (very sad to see some go Ha-Ha)

How many miles has the draggie done? This ticking noise, is it quite loud and can you pin point what barrel its coming from? im thinking your exhaust may have loosened off as i had the same ticking/tapping noise when i didn't do up the bolts on my exhaust properly

  7. Welcome Pierrick Lets hope some one on the site can help you out fining this bike, i only live 30mins away from Street in Somerset so i will try and keep an eye for you be helpful if you/we can find the registered keeper but i doubt thats easy to hold of due to data protection

  8. Ye i thought it was the clutch plates had stuck together so i sat in the car with foot on the clutch peddle with her in gear and had me mate rock the car to see if that would free her up, but nothing. could have tried starting her up in gear but its got a prototype body kit on it and i didnt want to brake it bouncing down the kerb or on the lumps of mud.

  9. So how dose it all wire up then?

But for it to work you need to have the ignition on all the time (understandable) but is there some thing in this remote start kit that stop the ignition from being on until you push the button? im just thinking that as soon as i turn on my ignition all the lights come on and all that "ignition" stuff which will 1; drain you battery and 2; leave your bike open to dick heads. How dose this kit stop all that?

  10. I Know i know its a car but i just signed up the the Mini owners club and got a few responses and then nothing. So i though a few of you guys on here have owned a Mini at some stage in your life and i know Foamy still has his.

Basically i went to Southampton on Saturday to meet the guy i booked with a flat bed to collect the car (but he never showed up) mega pissed off!

Any who, the car has been stood for a year and is still in great condition, no rust bar a few blisters on the paint round the rear window. pumped her caster wheels up and charged the battery and she fires up (on the 5th try)

Now here is the biggest main drama i have, the clutch don't work. Mike (the owner and my brother in law) drove it to work one day fine parked up and done an 8 hr shift, clocked out started her up and no clutch? the pedal is really light and there are no leaks from the slave or master cylinder and fluids are fine. You can select gear when the engine is off you just cant dis-engage the clutch.

    Any ideas

Sorry again to talk about a cage, just got no help from the "Pro's"
