    Yet another problem with the DT ! :(

    Have you fitted and after market exhaust or air filter? sounds like the same problem i had when i fitted straight through exhausts and ram filters on my draggy, she would not accelerate, popped banged and farted all the time. So i had to re-jet her with bigger main jets and diaphragm needles which solve the problem.

    I think Dickwad had the same drama as well till he re-jetted

    I heard this story once: (bare with me as i need to remember it.)

    A copper was on a stretch of road know for the keen motorcyclist which was on a nice coastal route, upon hearing such a motorist he pulls up his hand held gatso and aims it down the road at the power ranger and after a few seconds the gatso scrambles and turns off and the officer is un able to turn it back on, by this time the motorcyclist slowly poodles by him with a grin.

    After his shift the PC returns back to HQ with his busted Gatso, in which they found one of the main chips had blown. The man in charge then finds out that it was a military device that scrambled the signal so writes a strong letter to the local RAF base stating that they have let a speeder get away and also wrecked a expensive bit of police equipment and should pay for a new one.

    He soon had a letter back from the RAF base saying that at that time they had a fully armed Euro fighter out on a training exercise when it locked onto an hostile radar signal and automatically jammed it and armed its air to ground side winder missile. But the pilot was a biker and new of the road he was flying past and canceled the missile deployment. :biglaugha:

    Yup i think you are getting too much air going through the engine thus making her pop and splutter and higher speeds atc, get her to a garage and see if they can dyno run it to get the best out of her. re-jetting is easy but seeing that you have a sports bike you really want to get the best out of it and get it tuned properly.

    Yeah so did it. Just met someone through there this morning outside my local lidl and gave them a right boinking. Good service, very cheap. Glad it's part of the forum!

    Cheers Nick! Thanks for the effort in joining the club just to give some feedback, would be nice for you to introduce your self in the new bee section if your staying!

    As for the jockey shift sacha.......it will be done but need to sort out how I can do it and how its gunna work and look. New rear fender and sissy bar coming next then the split tanks then the jockey shifter. Lots to be done really lol.

    Well the bike cut out on me yesterday at the bottom (end) of a duel carrage way on a round about so i had to get off to push it off the road as i was in the right hand lane, i put my hand out to signal i was moving left to get off the road and some OAP gave me the V and near on took me out!

    Id say its any one who wares a hat whilst driving (OAP or hoo ray henries in their Halfords Saxo)

    Woman Drivers........Point blank........if you can reverse park a car then buy a push bike.

    Chavs...........shouldnt even be a loud to reproduce let alone be given a motorized vehicle

    Asian / comon wealth folk...............learn to speak English THEN learn to drive a car on British roads with BRITISH LAWS!

    And finally pissing cunting TRACTOR DRIVERS!!!..............pull the fuck over! your the only twats with a vehicle that can drive across country so why are you driving on a road parallel with a tossing field????????

    My Deepest Sympathies to you and to every one that knew him! Its hard knowing what to say to a Family when a loved one has passed on so all i will say is that on behalf of the YOC we are here for you when ever you need a chat. ;)
