Depends what you want doing. Frames will cost roughly £100 £120 all depending who you get to do it, Wheels less than £100

Some times when im keen to get off the line and i snatch 2nd my 650 Draggy hits neutral but im quick to pull in the clutch and snap 2nd then with out using the clutch i go up the box.
My advise to you all is, get quicker at getting from neutral to 2nd. look at adjusting your gear lever so that it takes less effort to get into 2nd as it seams like you are not lifting your foot up high enough to engage 2nd, so adjust the lever down. also when your going down the box as your coming to a stop just keep bopping your foot on the lever till you feel the last clunk then your know your in first and if say the traffic lights go from red to green and you have just gone into first and are still rolling you can then just snap up to 2nd.
Dont be soft about it either, those levers only snap when the bikes sliding down the road on its side so you being brutal with it aint gunna hurt it.

Well, thanks for the offer but it would prob cost me more in postage than the powder coating itself. Also just a kind bit of advise, i would go to the new members section and introduce your self/ company as you will get more respect and custom this way. At least then we know who you are and what you do rather than you just blurting in and throwing your web site about

try your local powder coater they some times can do chroming or there is powder coat powder thats similar to chrome with the added benefit of not rusting.

Cheers Drewpy, I have just spotted a kit on custom fasteners.com which i will go for. How do the nipples go on then? are they clamped on or soldered?

Right just a quick up date (no pics as work hasn't really started yet due to the weather)
The new fender is still a work in progress as the paint keeps blistering (something in the filler) so once thats sorted i can go a head and mock fit it and sort out a sissy bar. The split tanks are in the shed collecting dust till i pay off the wedding and get some sheet steel to make up a new tunnel for them.
The next thing thats going to happen is this new clutch set up. I have decided on doing the Suicide shifter with the foot clutch and hand lever. very simple mod to do and i will show you as i go if there is any other complete spanners in this tool box like me thats finds these mods cool? lol
The springs under the seat are now in the bin as they where pissing me off so now the seat is hard mounted to the frame and lets me sit nice and low, but im thinking about lowering the bike a bit more via the springs?
Stay tuned......................She aint finished yet.

Well we been having problems in the bed room, so she sends me to the docs to get checked out, but i don't think she was impressed when i came back with slimming pills! I know i should love her no matter what and i honestly can say i do.......i mean for example she fell down a set of steps in town the other day and i didn't even laugh........the pavement cracked up! tho thats different.
I also think its bit bad that every time we go to make love she has to fart just to give me a clue, or a bit of talc is needed to show me where the damp patch is, but other than this its quite and adventure banging my wife because if i miss her glory box her elbow or knee is just as good.

Hey guys and gals,
Do any of you know of a good company that will make me a custom clutch cable? Or know of a bit of kit that uses a roughly 2ft long clutch cable?
Just that im now going to toy with the idea of doing my suicide shifter for the draggy.

Not bad! but the only thing thats letting it down is those two big red things! Now save up and get rid of them!

Another quick tip tho, If you find that she is warm but still wont pull away then you need bigger main jets. It took me 5 times to get it right! thats 5 times taking the fuel tank off carbs out, Stripping carbs and rebuilding the lot.
I started with a set of 90 main jets and am now running a set of 122.5 main jets with the pilots jets adjusted 6.5 turns (stock is 1.5 turns!) Once you have fitted new jets start her up and leave her to warm up and then take her for a spin but not too far. If when you crack open the throttle she splutters and dont pull away get her home and take out the spark plugs, if they are white then your running week and need bigger jets, if they are black and wet your too rich and need to down jet.
Running week or rich for too long will melt / burn / fuck up pistons.

The Urine test (This was written by a rig worker in the North Sea - What he says makes a lot of sense!)
I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.
In order to earn that pay cheque, I work on a rig for a drilling contractor. I am required to pass a random urine test for drugs and alcohol, with which I have no problem.
What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.
Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a benefits cheque because I have to pass one to earn it for them?
Please understand that I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet.
I do on the other hand have a problem with helping someone sit on their arse drinking beer and smoking dope.
Could you imagine how much money the government would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a benefit cheque?
Please pass this along if you agree or simply delete it if you don't.
Hope you will pass it along though, because something has to change in the UK , and soon!

Thats ok dude just that where this is kinda like a free forum we would like to know who you are before giving out any thing for free as it where.
Right as for your question i have a set of these filters on my Dragstar (V star for you) and yes i had to put bigger main jets in the carbs, move the diaphragm needles up higher and advance the pilot jets a few more turns, I also had to fiddle with the tick over as well.
You may find as well that where you are getting more fuel and air going in the engine you will have to wait till she is warm till you can pull away, my bike will not go unless she is warm. Its kinda good in a way as no fucker can nick her and try and ride off as she will pop fart and cut out thus waking me up

Hi Byron and welcome!
Has you frame got a single back bone? If so i have a Harley Davidson Soft tail Tank sat in my shed doing nothing if you want it? it has no fuel valve, fuel pump nor fuel cap but these are easy to get on e-bay.
