  2. Thing that made me laugh today was this. (true story)

I was walking my dog early this morning and i heard a lot a heavy breathing and heavy foot steps behind me, so i turned around and to my amazement it was a very large older male running with his big ass dog! (so fat people can run)

But what was truly the high light of this event was when the poor guy soon become out of breath and stops for a rest....................well his dog WASN'T out of breath and WASN'T going to stop ........and with a sudden twang of the 8 meter long lead i soon sore the first ever fat superman! :biglaugha:

I pretty much cried with laughter! but i did go over n help him up and thankfully he had a giggle with me and said that its the fourth time he's done that

  3. Hey Dave welcome aboard!! a bobber is really easy to do.........all you basically do is take off every useless bit of crap that the bike dosen't need and et vala you have a bobber, but if you really want a one off bit of kit then you do need to chop / change the frame etc.

I will be more than happy to help you on your project as will every one else on here.

    All the best

    Keith

  4. Well my step dad has a Hardly carb sitting in his shed i may try n see if i can get it to fit, but if i cant its not a drama as you have answered my question so i have come up with an even cooler way to fit them, and yes i will be fabricating a new manifold for it and also a nice bracket to fix it to the frame, (with rubber mounts of course)

  5. Well she didn't sell so i have decided to take her to the next level, im keeping her and going all out on her little arse!

I have really big plans for her but im keeping them mostly under my hat till i get the first bit done (which is going to be big) but i will have to let one thing leak out as i need your guys input first to see if i can do it.

Basically in order for me to do "some thing" i need to side mount the carbs so that the air filters are facing out wards but this is the thing...............can this be done? will i have to have the float chambers on the bottom? or will i have to leave the carbs mounted with the float chambers on the side how they are?

    Cheers in advance

  6. Ha Ha, what a cock! Fuck me not even my 18month old daughter is as impatient as you. as tasky said, you posted your intro yesterday at a time when hardly any one is on the forum so you wouldn't have gotten a reply right away, and as for your other posts................? nothing but nice friendly advice from both you and other members So whats your pissing problem?

looks to me like your the type of guy that would fuck some one in the arse and not even give them a reach around! Get a grip of your sorry life and face the fact that not everyone is going to reply to what you said within a matter of seconds.

  7. Id say go for it mate, I have short ram cone filters on my 650 carbs and although the power gains are minimal i can certainly feel a bit more pull in the old girl.

at least if you wack some on your 125 your be the first and can offer some advice if some one else want to do the same. ;)

  8. Just to add my 2p (and it still is no excuse) but the guy maybe on holiday n away from a pc so cant pay? Give it a few more days mate then either start a complaint or send daily emails to him.

  9. Yer my mum had the 535 and she said it was shit to ride but i think that cause she went from a pillion on a triumph speed triple to the 535 lol. But if i had the virago and draggy in front of me and was told to choose i would have the draggy every time.

I'm running Straight through pipes with short ram cone filters on the carbs. She is about 98Db's but the mic on my mates phone aint great. On a good day i am able to set off at least 2-3 cage alarms in tescos. :D

  10. Looking good Sacha! will be a corker of i little bike when its done!

Now show us your hands so we know its you doing the work n not just the man of the house lol

  11. Now that the winter is pretty much here, what is it with cage drivers driving round with there front fog lights on? not only are some still going round with full beam on (even though its light enough not to need full beam on) but they think thats its just as good to blind every one with there fog lights!?

O and the fact that this week end i spotted 7 folks on their mobiles and half of pissing somerset not needing their indicators!!!! :wank4az:

  12. Well betty didn't sell on Ebay as the bloke was a complete C**t. so i chucked her on Auto Trader and i have loads of e-mails and phone calls about her so lets just hope i get a good price.

i doubt i will be able to afford a V-max sadly but none the less there are still plenty of good yammies out there that i can create a monster of a chop out of.
