  1. Well to be truthful, i hate football all together. Its a shit sport, played by poofs and supported by bell ends. (No offense to you by the way) the wife is a Man U fan and her dad is a spurs fan. The game is over rated, the players are over paid to the extreme and one of the twats "Beckham" gets paid a shit load of money for doing nothing. What ever happened to playing the game just for the sheer joy of playing it, not just to line there pockets and crash sports cars?

They all fake injuries that even school kids get while playing in PE yet they carry on playing yet these "Professionals" have to take 3 months off to heal??? AND STILL GET FULL PAY!!!!

    Football is wank........!

O and one last thing............................HOW THE FUCK IS IT AN OLYMPIC SPORT!!!!!!

  2. Having a kid is the best thing that every happened to me, and yet im still able to get by the day and save enough to customize my bike. you just need to put in loads of over time at work and make your out goings less than your in comings, Simples.

Sadly you will never get your money back on the things that you do to your stuff unless off course you re-build a Brough Superior SS100 now im pretty sure your get your money back on that.

  3. I had a small near miss the other day with an electric motorbike of all sorts! lol i do own a MP3 player (old school baby) but i never use it so this was no distraction for me this day. I was standing at the road side remembering my Green cross code as you do. So i stopped in a clear area where i could see the road and drivers could see me, my dog was sat next to me, i looked both ways, (twice) and i listened and all was clear.........................or so i thought.

as i took the first step out wooosh!!!! (or HUMMMM) a little moped just shot by me with no noise at all. scared the shit out of me and the dog. but all three of us where ok, the old man on the bike pulled over to see if we where ok and vice versa

  4. Well i guess i will let the secret out now as im only waiting on the chap in Scotland to confirm that he is happy to do the work for me.

Here is the plan of action for betty in the coming year or so:

    • Webber 40 DCOE side draft conversion
    • Dyna power commander
    • Dyan hot shot coils and HT leads
    • Iridium Spark plugs
    • One off frame from Scotland (see below picture)
    • Powder coat
    • King Sportster Fuel tank or the split tanks i have in the shed
    • Suicide clutch and hand shifter
    • Drag bars or clip ons
    • Small head light (got one in the shed)
    • Small Speedo
    • Rev gauge
    • Hard tail conversion
    • New exhausts

Some of these i can do quick ish but im going to get the frame done first so as that i can mock up where i want these bits to go with out it looking like a load of tosh. but its gunna take time to get these plans out of my head and on the road.

    Stay tuned ;)

  5. Moto GP bikes and other race Cages have Ceramic brakes (discs and pads) and your notice that they always do a warm up lap, 1) to get the tyres warm 2) to get the brakes warm so as that they can actually stop.

As Cynic has suggested, start off by riding with the brakes applied slightly to generate friction and get the temp up in them, they should start working then.................if not its best to put the standard ones back on as you aint no Casey Stoner! lol

  6. Well its just silly putting a single pot 250 engine into a 125 draggy even tho you like the look of the bike and its engine. Yet there is a 250cc draggy out there that looks identical to the 125 draggy??? May as well just buy the ready made 250. IMO

But say that you had a MK2 Golf GTI and you wanted to smack a VR6 lump into the MK2 shell...................Then thats more worth while.

  7. Well last night i had a very very close shave with a BMW driver. just riding home after 3 hours of Karate so i was taking it easy. riding down the road and my house is now only 400yards away, to my right is a junction but im on the main road so have the right of way.

I then spot this said BMW pull up to the junction and stop, being as it was dark and i had my lights on etc i would have guessed he could see that there was another motorized vehicle on the road, but i spot that he has failed to activate his indicators. By this time he has pulled out and is now in the middle of the road trying to go over the middle of the speed bumps forcing me to take action, wet road and sudden braking the rear wheel locks so i eased off the rear brake but now the rear wheel is saying hello to the front wheel. thankfully i get her straight again and go in pursuit of this twatbut he speeds off nearly taking out another car.

  8. Hi Dan, in the UK you must have a rear mud guard to get it through the MOT, with regards to the feds............its down to the police man / woman choice but its best to have one on there (or some thing like a fender) for the following reasons:

    1) looks nicer

    2) stops stones chipping away at your head

    3) stops some of the water spraying up your back (mine don't and after riding on a wet road my back is covered in shit)

Just wack on a nice small low fender and chop to your taste.
