  1. http://www.slimduck.com/dt125_wiring.htm try connecting the battery neg straight to the flasher lamp. if it flashes properly then it is the earth. the main frame earth should be near the battery...i suppose
  2. I would say you got bad earth...clean and reconnect the earths.
  3. I was stopped because of illegal number plate on my car. The copper was in a good mood so just gave a lecture and asked me to take the car to a police station within 7 days with legal plates attached.
  4. I had 06 plate with ABS and now I have 57 plate without. I wish that I had spent a bit more and got ABS model. To me its definately worth the extra money..

had the 600 miles service yesterday. it now feels a lot smoother. i have still not reved the engine more than 7000 revs . i do motorway driving everyday and at 6000revs i am doing about 72mph...staying legal. mpg is improving too as the engine loosens.

    YAMAHA FZ6 S2

I bought a 57 reg 2 weeks ago with 2 miles. It has now done 500. I had 06 which i p/exed. That used to give me over 40mpg. It improves after about 3000miles. S2 is better than the previous because the mid range power has been increased. I personally think they are very good bikes with 6000ml service intervals. Hope this helps.
  10. when i had a flat battery on my 06 fazer, i used the cable under the seat to connect the battery charger. it is a 2 core cable with a plug on the end. you got to make sure which is POS and which is NEG. hope this helps otherwise the battery is under the fuel tank
  11. my daughter had the same problem with her 125 so i took the plug off and with a hair dryer i warmed the plug and also the cylinder by blowing through the plug hole. it started without problems. now i start the buke atleast once a week and let it idle for 5-10 mins and since then never had the problem. hope this helps

    test

    well done......
  13. just got a letter from the card company. they have charged back the disputed amount to bennetts and credited my account. this goes to prove that bennetts did not make a refund. so beware before you get insurance from them. next time i would rather pay a bit extra and go to a reputable company.
  14. as we have lots of polish registered cars on our roads now, i think it is only fair that they pay the proper road tax and have safety checks like mot done on their cars. they don't pay congestion charges, parking fines and get away with almost everything that us brits cannot. so please click on the link and sign the petition to the PM Gordon Brown. please get friends and family to sign too http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/exciseduty/

    getting away with it!

my nephew was caught doing 94 on a 30 limit road. he went to court yesterday. he was fined £35 and banned for 2 months. with court costs it cost him £125!. 4 years ago my daughter was done for doing 34 on a 30 road. £60 fine and 3 points. few days later in the paper someone was done speeding, no mot / insurance and he was fined £25. is that JUSTICE! so scan the leaflet and let everyone read it. PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  18. thanks but the card company are dealing with it. just sent them the paperwork yesterday. it is nice to know about the website. i hope that i never have to use it but you never know. nowadays everyone is money oriented and customer service/satisfactio is not important
  19. JUST AN UPDATE....STILL NO REFUND!!!!
  20. for your age and the bike, it is a very good price compared to £600 TPFT! i found that hastings are very good. at the moment i am with express ins. i only went with them as they were the cheapest. my friend has always been with carole nash and according to him they are the bees knees. very good in the event of a claim which i hope nobody has to do.
