dtr_125

i have a L reg dtr125 with a 02 reg engine and since yestaday it hasnt been starting and when it does it runs for about 10 seconds then cuts out, i got the AA out and they tryed the plug - superb spark, the fuel tap was letting fuel throught and there didnt seem to be a blockage from the tank to the carb but when spray carb cleaner into the air filter it runs ok, he said it will be the carb thats blocked and that need to take the carb off and clean it out but i wanted to know if it could be owt else before i take it apart cheers

iv got a dtr125 but always 4get wht gear its in for juntions ect but i read that it will only work with either a digital rev counter ot digital speedo but mine does hav either does any1 know if it can be fittedto analoge aswell cheers

i am after the colour code for the blue dtr 2002 model i was told it was on a sticker under the seat but mine does not have 1 so if any1 can help plz cheers

hi im not very educated in bike stuff but i had a scooter that had the same problem not starting i had checked and even replaced stuff such as spark plugs ect, it turned out that it had no compression (sumert to do with piston rings ect were totally kackered ,the shop had it nearly 2 months tryin to solve the problem) but was quite costly to repair. this may and hopefully not the case money wise but hope it helps

r they just a straight fit replacement?

hi just got a dtr125 afew days ago and i do quite abit of long distance travels, so does any1 know or hav a routh idea of how long a full take will last?? cheers
