  1. after testing a yzf r125 at my local dealership i noticed that i was on the balls of my feet as opposed to flat footed, this was never a problem on bikes in the past but ive heard that the new yammy is a bit unforgiving to anyone under 5ft7 (im actually 5ft7) i understand everyones inside leg span is different and im about an inch i reckon from flat footed...so my question is this.is it possible to get a lowering kit for the yammy yzfr125 and if so has anyone had any experience with them, ive also seen online that you can adjust seats (cut foam away etc) and wonder if this is a good option,or an efficient one??

edit : ive seen a lowering kit for 99.99 from cmc so i know they do them :) :) yeah!!

  2. hello everyone, just joined the forum.

looks like a good active forum here wit some friendly people. Right here we go, im currently only on a cbt license and so obviously can only ride a 125 and I've been tryin to find out about the yzf r125 thats coming out soon, my main concern is whether it would be too small as i am 6' 3/ 6'4. also does anybody know any speed figures etc about it? and can it be derestricted for after ive passed my test or is the max power available the 15 hp it comes as?

hope someone out there can give some answers, cheers.

its not really about height of the person but inside leg length, well im 5 foot 7 and on the balls of my feet so you would not look out of place, suffice to say you may look like your riding a wasp :) no offence intended.

  3. hello everyone :D

im a new lady rider, just got my cbt.

have my eye on yzf r125.

have a problem and need some help

i am small (155cm tall) and becouse of that on r125 i can't put my 2 feets on the flor.

i realy dont want to ride with my high heals on!

definately need to do some modifications for my future r125.

i will modify the seat, but its not enouth, so i have to do something with the kit...

i have seen 3 dealers and they are not doing it for r125 (for r6 no problem but r125-no)

    Guys,

do you know somethik about lowering the kit for r125?

do you know who does it?

how many mm will it make lower?

+- how much will it cost?

i love so much sport bikes and dont want give up my dream just becouse im small...

lowering kit for yammy yzf r125

this shou;d drop the seat height about an inch and a half just over (35mm to be exact) im 5 foot 7 and it gives me loads more confidence goin from balls of my feet to flat footed...hope this helps, happy riding.
