Gutted, what sort are you going to get to replace it?
just got a heavy duty o ring off ebay ,turned up today so when it decides to stop peeing it down ill get it on , postman been kind today cos hes also brought me my new sump gasket for my gt750 too , so im gonna be busy

someone was looking over me at the weekend ,how this didnt let go is beyond me .
id just spent 4 hours doing 80 up the a1 turned off the to do the last stretch for home
noticed the chain was notching and jiggling ,a mate was behind me and noiced a dry link so went out monday to tighten/lube
even tho its a rat bike this is always lubed blahblah

totally understandable no theyre not to everyones liking like i say,but the thing is with the divvy that it wasnt in the best of nick bodywise when i got it , and getting a new bike was out of the question ,so out came the matt black , its on the road all year round (yup even snow)
as cheap as i can possibly get ebay get some use ..i do all the work myself i like to tinker and botch stuff .sitting with a beer or 3 thinkin will it /could it work
like the front muddy the original i snapped to bolts in it,so that got chucked in the shed ,and came the one thats on that was made from an old mx tyre and some scraps of aluminium that i found at work (im a binman so always skipratting

mainly BMW/Audi/Merc drivers, the ones with the "i have a brand new really expensive car which means everyone else around me is inferior, you will bow down to me", other than that its mums on the school run, i found that most lorry drivers and to an extent bus drivers are amongst the most curtious
have to agree ..i rode back from a rally warminster the other week , in absolute torrential rain (7hrs wasnt funny) visibility was naff all from the spray/fog most drivers had started to slow because of it getting worse ,i was in the middle lane, outside lane audi passed me at well over a ton that on the phone , nearly caused a pile up cos hed not even noticed the slow traffic was still on the phone when me n me mate caught up the guy shits it he was thinkin im a bloody copper cos im all in high vis
so we give him the finger called him a and plodded on -
do they have the knurled (bumpy) bits on where the clamps would fit , cos if they dont get the tape measure out , i got mine 5mm off centre and it felt like i was pissed

what bars ya got ? ive just fitted drag bars to my divvyrat , when ya put the grips back on use hairspray thats what i got told and it works a treat

owdoo everyone , not been ere for a long time , thought id pop in and have a look about have a bit of an update ..ill warn ya my divvy might not be to everyones liking , but this my love for the last 5 years , still going strong and yes its a full blown rat
lets see..for those who dont know ,she started as a tatty 96 divvy ,which i swapped there were holes in the fairing , scratched dints blah rode for a couple of years without the fairing then found the mattblack..
its lived the rat life for the last 3 years cutting and changing bits ere n there , the exhause was a battered nexxus which i didnt like , so i got a race can from a triumph tiger and made a stubby,the sound from that i soo nice a nice deep sound, lights are 55w h3 car driving lamps , renthal drag bars and other bits
shes won 2 best rat awards and been featured in a music video (which has been on mtv and kerrang) with a few other ratters - 3:00> youll see me

shes ridden in all weather,snow was umm fun tho, did 600 mile round trip the other week in the crappest torrential downpours ever , and not missed a beat ,
just a brilliant bike
anyhoo hope ya like and natter soon hopefully -
i was wondering if there could be other engines that maybe would go into a divvy frame ,i was thinkin on the lines of fz750 or other yam lumps

this is roughly how itll look cant fit it proper like cos i have to get some fillers made to be able to use the bandit spindle
and also the frame needs taking out a few mm's to accept the arm
also ive got some aluminium sheet so im gonna crack on with getting the undertray done rather than it just being in card template
