  1. Vented leathers, perforated leathers etc etc.

Textiles, also with vents, perforated sections etc....

All come with armour and all are good.

    Bear in mind these things:

1/. Sweat cools you down. Vented/perforated clothing allows the airflow to cool you.

2/. Sliding down the road at 40mph, your exposed flesh will be grated off (yes, just like a cheese grater) at the rate of 1 inch depth per second.

3/. Ground off flesh (fat, muscle, whatever) does NOT grow back.

Feel free to go riding in shorts, sandals or whatever you want.

Ain't gonna be skin off MY hide.......

I ride with a Scorpion jacket. Its like a mesh material and it breathes. It costed about $400 american due to the fact that it has a zip-out rain liner and a zip-out thermal liner aswell. most of the time i just use the main jacket without the liners. due to it being so hot. However when it gets REALLY cold (where i live its about a week long) i will don the thermal liner and the jacket. if it's still cold i just throw on a hoodie.

  2. Yeah, with a turbo or NOS maybe

You could try altering the gearing and fit a really small rear sprocket, but I think you'll find it won't have much guts at low speed

as long as i can pop it up that's all i really care about. i want to reach it. if not on my FZ6 then i'll do it when i get a R1

  3. -everyone_

    "hello john..."

I LOVE THIS SITE!!!! DON'T WORRY JOHN!! I WAS AN ADDICT!!!! NOW I ONLY TOUCH THAT SITE AND MYSPACE ONCE EVERY OTHER WEEK!!!! THERE IS HOPE!!!!

  4. Love the 2007 YZF-R6. Got great power and torque. Love my 07 FZ6. I call it my little pony. And he bites. But hands down has to be the R1. My best friend had one and that's what i'm getting when i turn 25 (due to insurance). But i love them. with very little mods you can be a proud member of the 200+ club. and beyond. i think for ultimate respect as far as sport bikes go, you can't get any better.+

  5. As for shorts I wear them. My natural body temp is 100.2. So i'm always hot and it sucks. I do ride with shin guards and knee pads just in case. Not to mention I live in brunswick georgia and it's HOT here.

As for riding like a "twat" i don't know what that is. But when the speed limit is 50 mph and you and your friend are having a conversation at 45 mhp and i'm behind you. All I got to say is watch out. Cause i'm commin straight up the middle. Besides if you're over 65 you don't need a damn license. there's no road from your bed room to the kitchen.

  6. What, every single one of them?

Bet you I can find 10 brands of disclock that don't come with them, excluding the ones I own!!

I ment fork locks. And Yes I do take of like a bat out of hell. Yes I lock my forks Yes I leave my bike in gear and Yes I will still leave you. and everybody I ride with is the same. If I aint ready I get left. That's just the way we roll.

  7. yeh, noticed the feedback button a few days ago, i said the forum is well laid out and usefull but could do with a darker color scheme to suit the R6 banner at the top of the page.

The forum has adverts because when you use those advert links the forum gets a bit of money towards running costs (which arent cheap!)

Undertail exhaust = R1 not an R6. R6 has side short exhaust. and is quite ugly might i add.

  8. Oh and another thing DON"T EVER TRY TO GET MATCHING GEAR!!!! You'll just wind up lookin like a Goober. When in doubt go with black gear. That's what I did and it works. Same goes with anybody with anybike. So if you've got a yellow bike, Don't get a red helmet or a red jacket. You look retarted.

IF YOU HAVE A BIKE AND YOU GEAR IS A COMPLETLY DIFFERENT COLOR PLEASE SAY THE FOLLOWING:

    I

    Am

    Sofa

    King

    Red

    Tar

    Ted

    Thanks

  9. Not all of us have have alarms on them. And when you have certian activities that you need to get done quick or ride in a pack, you will probably get left and have to play catch up. Because I know if YOUR ass aint ready, YOUR ass gets left. No if ands or buts about it. It takes 15 days to start a true habit. So if you want one get one. I will never have one. Just leave your bike in gear and lock the front trees. Duh they come with them on it. no need to buy a bunch of extra crap.

Oh and to the guy that made the comment about the house key, I don't lock my doors. Due to the fact that where I live EVERYONE knows who I am and What I will do if you "break in to my house" I live in Georgia and all you have to do is step on my property and I can drop you like a bad habit and say that you threatened me. I love that law.

  10. Just post who you ride with.

    Who you're affiliated with

    What you ride

Who you'd like to be a member with ect.

I currently am the only member of Never Look Back

  11. they are virtualy the same engine. On paper the FZ6 has one more cc than the R6. But the R6 has a different compression ratio, and different drive train. I think your best bet to start off with is go with a K&N air filter. It's quick, cheap, and you can do it youself. I think including the upper air box cover i losened 1 bolt and removed 8 bolts/screws. make sure that your tank with either empty or close to it. i just did that to my 07 FZ6 and i have no backfires or anything. Next on your list should be exhaust. Granted I havent dont that just yet but i have had 3 bikes in the past and i havent had any problems with just bolting it on. worst case you have to get a plug and play power comander. that should boost your horsepower and torque. however if you want to get down to the nitty gritty, I'd upgrade plugs and wires, change out sprockets and possibly have the head bored out. but as far as exhaust and air filter and things of that nature, i'm just telling you stuff that you can do pretty much by yourself. good luck and keep it shiny side up. >:)

  12. I HATE DISC LOCKS WITH A PASSION!! My boss has one and I cant tell you how many times I've taken his front wheel assembley just to get his lock off. I'm sorry but anything that comes with 5 keys just in case you lose one can't be good. Not to mention if you're like me and you like to go out and go to a pub or party or bar and you use it and you forget you have it on it can and WILL cause MAJOR DAMAGE. So I hate them.

  13. personally due to my previous experience with motorcycles and people pulling out in front of me and other things happening i am use to not having ABS. And I like it like that. I think that so many bikes havent had it in the past. Why start now. I don't think it's worth paying an extra $1000 or more. it's up to you if you want to buy that particular model. Personally i will NEVER own a bike with ABS.

  14. Yes they can. That is one way that they can "clock" your speed. If they have a video camera, they can actually see their speed and judge by their speed what your speed is. there for it's legal. sorry.

  15. Every rider is different. I use to have to put only one foot down. Thanks to drag racing I now keep both feet on the ground. I find it easier. As far as take off goes, I now have to keep my right foot hanging in the air inorder for me to not stall out. So I feel your pain.
